We are pleased to advise that we are soon to be taking part in a sponsored Colour Dash in support of LCH Charity – Lifting Children’s Hopes, a charity we work in partnership with and a charity who we receive support from for some of our children/students.

Children/students and staff will run around a set course at school whilst being showered with coloured powder, and this year we have been provided with a set of super soakers, adding even more fun to the event – the theme is Super Soaker Colour Dash. Colour powder is not harmful to people or the environment.  It is made from corn starch, dyed with food-grade colouring.

Sponsorship forms can be collected from the school and donations will need to be brought in on Friday 2^nd May to take part. Please note the charity event is fully inclusive, and everyone gets to take part, the charity also provides the minimum prizes for every child – no one is left out!

On the Day

We will be taking photos – if you do not wish for your child to be included with this please use the photography consent letter with the sponsorship form to indicate this – On occasion, social media posts made by the school can be picked up by other news outlets.  By agreeing to your child’s photographs being used by the school, you are agreeing to them also being used in this way.

Children/students will need a change of clothes (preferably old clothes)/come to school in non-uniform (preferably old clothes). The clothes will get covered in powder colour. If your child wishes they can also wear swimming goggles or sunglasses to protect their eyes – however these are not needed.

Please ask friends and family to sponsor your child for this event using the sponsorship form they have brought home. The QR code on the sponsorship form can be scanned to donate online through apple and google pay but still please complete the sponsorship form with your child details.
